EVALUATE a water intrusion risk before it’s too late! Is your home 40 years old or older? Do you have a basement? Is your home on a hill? Have you or your neighbors recently changed a grade around your house? Are there any new apartments or housing developments built within last three years in your area? Are the gutters and downspouts functioning well? Have you noticed some cracks or settlements in the house foundations or steam walls? If you answered yes to any of these questions, your home could be at risk of water intrusion – with devastating results.

FLOODING |
FLOODING |
Has water flooded your home? This is a true emergency and must be addressed at once! Don’t leave wet carpets or floors unattended. Water damaged areas must be dried within 24 to 48 hours to prevent mold growth. Moreover, once water has eroded a path into your home it is unstoppable. Reoccurring flooding will occur and the resultant mold and fungi growth are now your number one concern. If you want to save a lot of money and time, don’t call “Water Damage Restoration Services”. They only suck up water and dry the area temporarily leaving you with a hefty bill (sometimes 5-digit one) and still leaving you with a headache of unresolved problems. Run to a local hardware store or rental place and get blowers and humidifiers. This would save you money that you will need to use for installing a permanent solution.

SOLUTION |
SOLUTION |
The key to mold control is moisture control. Wet Basement Services combines simple water redirection with state-of-the-art drainages and membranes to control water intrusions permanently. We have a 100% success rate in extreme water abatement. We’ve helped clients who suffered for decades from winter flooding of their basements. Our system desaturates liquefied soils under your house footings and basement floor slab. This solution is different than most drainage systems of our local competitors, which act only like a “band aid”, and not address real sources of the issue you have. We will be happy to elaborate on it when we meet together when you schedule your Free Inspection.
Our systems will cure your headache PERMANENTLY!
Our interior waterproofing system, uses membranes and French drains placed along foundation footings and basement steam walls, thereby encapsulating the basement from the outside. We place new drainage pipes at the side of the footings and cover them with P-gravel and drainage fabric, which redirect water to the exterior by using gravity or a sump pump. This is a highly effective and cost-efficient way to control water intrusions. Interior waterproofing can be done faster than exterior waterproofing.
Our exterior waterproofing consists of excavating foundation walls to the bottom of the footings. Once the area is excavated, the walls are covered with exterior membranes, like Delta or Mira drains, which expand drainage areas to all layers of the soil profile. In addition, we may seal the dry walls with waterproofing solution. And at the side of the footings, we install new drainage pipes covered with P-gravel and drainage fabric.
Our proprietary Extreme Water Abandonment (EWA) system – provides a permanent and complete water control solution, with a lifetime guarantee. We offer basement flooding and waterproofing services in the greater Seattle area, including Redmond, Kirkland, Bellevue, Renton, and other suburbs.

Happy Clients
Flooded basement? These are your guys! With the record setting rain in Seattle in the last year, we unfortunately experienced a bunch of flooding in our finished basement and were left very unsure of how to manage; we reached out to several "waterproofing" companies and we received various responses from plumbers, foundation contractors and so-called "water cleanup experts (which were vendors that relied on a large wet vac to clean up water but provided no actual solve). After speaking to a dozen companies (and having half a dozen of them swing by) we were almost set on selecting a vendor who required that we demo the walls of our entire basement, in walks Jerzy from Wet Basement Services! Asides from explaining EXACTLY HOW he was going to fix the issue, he also brought a presentation deck that outlined the science OF WHY this was occurring in the first place. He then directed us to his website to see detailed photos of the construction process with further information regarding water table and hydrostatic pressure. To prep, we simply had our own contractor partially demo HALF of our finished basement. The construction process went smoothly! Asides from trenching and installing a proper drainage system, the crew also installed a sump pump. John, the PM/Lead on our project, was polite, personable and most importantly, made himself available to answer calls and all of my questions. He and his crew came in and did all the work over the course of three (3) days and they left the jobsite cleaner than when they began. With an owner lifetime guarantee, I'd say they have one of the best warranties in the business. Here's to seeing how well it went the next time we get some major rain - but I have no doubt that in the unlikely event of any issue, John and Jerzy would offer assistance without reservations.

Dear Jerzy, We would like to thank your team for successfully solving a 30+ year problem of water in a section of our 1939 home's basement. You were able to accurately identify the problem areas, right down to the cracks in mortar around bricks that were contributing to our water problems. Your bid on the work to be done was well within the range of what we anticipated. The crew arrived when expected, fully briefed on the job to be done, and they worked hard the whole time they were here. The crew members were masters of every job they had to do, including an awesome job of restoring a finished basement to its original state. We were amazed that it could be done! We were happy because they were very willing to tell us what was going on and how they were doing it as well as answering a million questions. We have been through over an inch of rain since they completed work and not a drop has come into the basement. Anyone with a residential water problem should start with Wet Basement Services to get straight answers from someone with a sound engineering and hydraulics background. Sincerely, Chuck and Becky Cox

John and Jerzy did a great job, from the estimate through site cleanup. Prior to Wet Basement Services I had thousands of dollars or work done by an injection company to stop the flow of water. That solution did not work at all. It was like putting a thumb in the dike and the water just found a new route (17 of them) into the garage. The fix designed and installed by John and Jerzy (interior footing drains, sump and sump pump) is great and we have no leaks. Would highly recommend them.
